The lease up of Trevose Senior Residence/ Daniel B. Green House has begun!

 

General Information:

  • Trevose Senior Residence is currently under construction.

  • No one is permitted on the site during construction.

  • Applications will be mailed with Tenant Selection Plan (TSP).

  • TSP explains eligibility requirements and processing information

  • Local mail has been slow. Please allow one to two weeks to receive application.

  • We will mail postcards to you once we receive and accept your application.

  • Please allow about three weeks to receive your postcard.

  • Once applications are received then applicant names will go on the waiting list.

  • The waiting list is created only after applicants submit completed applications.

  • Applicants will be processed in chronological order of their application.

  • Staff will call applicants to set up the processing interview.

  • All communication with us must be in writing or by email.

  • Please do not leave voice mail messages for staff requesting an application. Due to the volume of requests, we are unable to return these calls.

  • We are not able to offer building or apartment tours at this time.

  • Approved applicants will be shown an apartment before lease signing.

Q: When will the building be ready for occupancy?

A:  The building is under construction. We anticipate construction completion in July/August 2025.

 

Q: How old must an applicant be to be considered for housing?

A: All members of the household must be 62 years of age or older at the time application is submitted.

 

Q: Is this a HUD subsidized section 8 housing program for the elderly?

A: No. There is no HUD rental subsidy. This is a low income housing tax credit building for the elderly. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements per the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.

We will accept applicants with Housing Choice Vouchers issued through the Bucks County Housing Authority. .

 

Q: Do I have to pay for my own utilities?

A: Yes.   Residents must pay their own electric utility which is separately metered for each apartment. The apartment's heat, air conditioning, hot water and lighting are all electric. Residents must be able to open an account with PECO. The building provides water and sewer.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.  Residents are permitted to have one domestic household pet with proper vaccination records and a $300 pet security deposit.

Q: Can I smoke in my apartment or on the building grounds?

A: No. This property will be completely "smoke-free".  Residents, guests and staff are NOT PERMITTED to smoke in the building or grounds.

Q.  When will I be called for a processing interview?

Applications are processed in chronological date of receipt. You will be called to set up a processing interview. Interviews will continue until all apartments are rented.
